Equipment Neededย
- Air Fryer
- Measuring cups (1/2 and 3/4 cup)
- Measuring spoons (tablespoon and teaspoon)
- Knife
- Spatula
Toaster Strudel Air Fryer Recipe Ingredients
- 2 sheets of puff pastry
- 3/4 cup of strawberry jam (or try one of our homemade jam recipes)
- 1/2 cup of powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons of heavy cream
- 2 teaspoons of vanillaย
How To Make a Toaster Strudel in the Air Fryer
Here’s everything you need to make our Toaster Strudel Air Fryer recipe.
First, cut the puff pastry into evenly-sized rectangles. If you’re using store-bought sheets, the sheets come folded. Cut the folded brick in half, and then unfold, and cut along the folds. This will give you 12 evenly-sized sheets.
Now, take one sheet of the pastry, and place a tablespoon of jam in the middle, leaving 1/2 inch of the border along all sides. With water on your fingertip, dampen the pastriesโ borders. Sandwich blank pastry treats on top of the jammed pastry sheet. Then, press down the edges of the sheets sealing the jam in.
Be sure not to overfill the pastries, or the filling will ooze out while they cook–still tasty, but not as pretty!
Place two pastries in the air fryer basket (or more if your air fryer has the room), and cook at 350 degrees, turning once.
Top your pastries with a glaze of powdered sugar, cream, and vanilla. I can almost taste this strawberry strudel now!
