This canned biscuit danish recipe is perfect for breakfast or a quick snack. These are also a fun treat to share at school or work. And, we especially love them fresh out of the air fryer with a cup of coffee or tea. These lemon danishes are not only delicious, but couldn’t be simpler to make!

This is a simple recipe you can make with only four ingredients. For those looking for an easy breakfast or snack to make with only about $10 worth of ingredients, this recipe is your new go-to budget-friendly treat.ย ย 

Lemon Canned Biscuit Danish Ingredients & Directions:ย 

  • 1 can of large flakey biscuits
  • 1 can of lemon pie filling
  • cooking sprayย 
  • a package of vanilla icing (or make your own with the easy recipe below)

After pre-heating your air fryer, divide each biscuit in half. Then place a tablespoon of lemon pie filling in the center of each biscuit.

Add the biscuits to the air fryer, leaving space between them. Air fry your biscuits for five to eight mintues, or until browned.ย

Want to make your own icing?

It’s easy! All you need for delicious icing is to stir together the following:

  • 1 cup of confectioners sugar
  • 3 tablespoons milk/heavy cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extractย 

For thinner vanilla icing, use milk instead of heavy cream. You can also add more milk or cream to thin the icing if desired.

For thicker icing, use heavy cream, rather than milk. You can also add more confectionersโ€™ sugar to thicken up the icing, if desired.

Don’t like lemon? That’s okay! You can also make this danish recipe with cherry, apple, raspberry, or any other pie filling you enjoy. These canned biscuit danishes have endless options!

To reheat:

To reheat your tasty lemon danishes, all you need to do is put them back in the air fryer for two or three minutes until they’re warm.ย ย

    totally shocked and surprised!!!!!! I never dreamed to use can biscuite in the airfryer. Senior here so this would be perfect using one of the little 5 can biscuits……………….. I see a trip to store in my future. Love this
