Loaded with fresh veggies ready to dunk into your favorite dip, this adorable veggie tray couldn’t be simpler to put together.
It’s perfect for all kinds of occasions from parties to potlucks to baby showers–or any time you want to serve a pretty (and healthy) appetizer. And, since flowers always say “spring,” this makes a terrific addition to an Easter or spring lunch or dinner too.
If you want to get your kids to eat their veggies, let them help arrange their own veggie “flower” creations, and they’ll be more than happy to eat them up!

Simple-to-Make Flower Veggie Tray
Here’s everything you need to make this pretty veggie snack board. This includes: sugar snap peas, colorful bell peppers, and ranch dressing (or your favorite dip). You might want to check out the recipe for our low-calorie veggie dip.
You’ll also need:
- small clear glass or white ramekins to hold the dip
- a platter, tray, or cutting board
Start by arranging the peapods across the bottom of your tray, platter, or cutting board as you see above.
Next, slice the peppers, fill the ramekins with dip, and arrange the pepper slices around the ramekins to create flower shapes. Use a peapod or two to act as flower stems.
That’s all there is to it! Now you have a colorful and nutritious snack everyone will love!
Flower Veggie Tray
Equipment
- 2 small ramekins
- 1 cutting board, serving platter, or tray
Ingredients
- 1 red bell pepper
- 1 yellow bell pepper
- 1 orange bell pepper
- sugar snap peas
- ranch dressing or your favorite veggie dip
Instructions
- Arrange the peapods on the bottom of the tray.
- Slice the peppers into strips.
- Fill ramekins with veggie dip or ranch dressing.
- Arrange the bell pepper slices around the veggie dip cups to create the look of flowers.
- Use one or two snap peas to create the flower stems.
