How to Make These “Flower” Pepperoni, Basil, and Mozzarella Skewers
All you need to make these lovely flower skewers is some basil, pepperoni, and fresh mozzarella balls. And, of course some skewers!
Start by arranging four or five pieces of pepperoni in a row, as you see in the photo above. You want them to overlap.
Next, fold them in half from bottom to top, creating a flat “bottom.” Then beginning on one end, carefully roll the pepperoni to create a “flower,” as you see in the photo.
Finally, place the mozzarella balls, basil leaves, and the pepperoni flowers onto the skewers. The order is: mozzarella ball, basil leaf, pepperoni flower, basil leaf, and mozzarella ball.
Just like our Tulip Tomatoes, these delectable little hors d’oeuvres will be the talk of the party!
