Welcome spring by making this adorable Easter bunny breakfast with your kids.
Simple “recipes,” like this cute Easter bunny toast are a great way to get the kids in the kitchen. And, I like that when they make something themselves, they’re more likely to eat the fruit that we’re always encouraging.
You could also make this bunny breakfast as a fun surprise for your little ones.
And, once you have the hang of this bunny rabbit, why not create some other animal faces? Try puppies, kittens, or pigs. Or try your hand at other fun food creations. We have some more easy-to-make ideas at the bottom of the page.
What you need to make bunny toast
Here’s everything you need to make this tasty bunny toast:
- 1 Slice of bread (toasted)
- 1 Banana
- 2 Blueberries
- 2 Strawberries
- Cream cheese
How to assemble your Easter bunny breakfast toast
This sweet little recipe could not be easier to make. First, toast a piece of bread. (You could also use an English muffin if you’d like.) Next spread on a generous layer of cream cheese. The fruit will need to “stick” to the cream cheese, so make sure you use enough.
Use a knife or a large, round cookie cutter to cut out a circle, as you see above.
Next, cut the banana in half both vertically and horizontally.
Remove the green part from one of the strawberries, then cut the strawberry in half. Place one half on each of the banana halves to create the pink part of the bunny ear.
To finish the bunny’s face, use two blueberries for the bunny’s eyes. Use the end piece of the remaining strawberry to create the bunny nose (as you see in the photo). Thinly slice the remaining banana to create bunny whiskers.
Now enjoy your Easter bunny breakfast!

Fill a clear glass with green grapes. Then, slice the end of a banana as you see in the photo. Use a marker to draw a dot for the eye, and put a cherry (or berry) in the dolphin’s mouth.
Bagel Caterpillar
Spread cream cheese on three bagels/six halves. Then cut the bagels in half again as you see in the photo. Next, top each section with different colors of fruit, and arrange to create your caterpillar! Use fruits like kiwi, strawberries, raspberries, dragonfruit, peaches, cherries, blueberries, blackberries, or any of your favorites!
