Looking for healthy snack ideas for your kids? Here’s a fun idea. Make these super simple grape caterpillar kabobs!
They’re the perfect treat for kids’ parties, after school snacks, or whenever you want to serve a good-for-you snack your kids will want to eat.
We used green grapes, but any color grapes will work, and so would cherries, or blueberries. You could even mix up different colored berries and grapes if you’d like.
Grape Caterpillar Kabobs
Ingredients and Materials:
six long wooden skewers
60 green grapes
icing (any color)
12 edible candy eyes
These are so easy to put together. Just put the grapes on your skewers, and using icing as “glue,” attach the candy eyes.
Instructions:
- First choose six grapes for the heads (make sure they are the best shapes)
- Place nine grapes lengthwise on each skewer and add the final “head” grape.
- Using the icing, place a dab on the back of each candy eye, and place two on each “head” grape.
ENJOY!
Note: Watch small children around wooden skewers.
