This no-bake (and no-cooking) dip is perfect for family get-togethers, holiday parties, cozy movie nights, or to enjoy anytime that chocolate craving hits! It’s so creamy, fluffy, and chocolatey, it will remind you of a hot, steamy mug of hot cocoa.

You can also add your favorite toppings to customize your Hot Cocoa Dip to your family’s taste. We have a few ideas below, but first let’s get into the basic (easy) recipe.

And, all you do is blend everything together with a hand mixer until it’s light and fluffy. Now you’re ready to dip your favorite cookies and enjoy!

Hot Cocoa Dip Toppings

To add even more flavor, garnish your dip however you’d like. Here are some of our favorite ideas.

• mini marshmallows
• mini m&ms
• mini chocolate chips
• crushed peppermint
• colorful candy sprinkles

Flavor Additions 

If you like flavored hot chocolate, experiment with your Hot Cocoa Dip. Try adding a little peppermint, raspberry, or almond extract. You might like cinnamon too.

Be sure to start with small amounts of these mix-ins, and add more if needed.

How to Store This Dip

Refrigerate your Hot Cocoa Dip until you’re ready to serve it. You can eat it right away, but the flavors really come together after an hour or so in the refrigerator.

Leftover dip should be stored in an airtight container for up to three or four days. This dip does not freeze and thaw well.

Ingredients

• 1 jar 7.5 oz of marshmallow fluff
• 1 container 8 oz of Cool Whip (original)
• ¼ cup Hershey’s cocoa unsweetened
• 2 tbsp mini marshmallows
• graham crackers for serving

Instructions

• In a medium bowl, add the marshmallow fluff, Cool Whip, and cocoa powder.
• With a hand mixer, blend these ingredients together for about 5 minutes, or until the dip is light and fluffy.
• Garnish with mini marshmallow, m&ms, chocolate chips, or whatever you like best. (optional)
• Serve with graham crackers or your favorite cookies.
