Here’s a cute advent calendar you can print for your child today. You’ll only need a couple of things you probably have around the house to get started counting down the days until Santa Claus comes.
This Christmas countdown calendar printable is so much fun for little ones, and it will help them better understand how many days are left until the big day! Kids absolutely love adding fluffy cotton balls each day to build Santa’s beard—it’s a simple, tactile activity that turns the countdown into a hands-on craft they’ll look forward to every morning.

Materials needed:
Printable material (best printed on white card stock) Click for your printable Santa.
Cotton balls (24)
Glue
Optional: hole punch and ribbon to hang the calendar
Directions:
1. Print the advent calendar. If hanging it up, it works best to print on a heavier paper, like cardstock. To hang, simply punch a hole in the top center of the paper. Run a string or ribbon through and hang on a thumb tack or nail.
2. Starting December 1st, let your little one glue a cotton ball on the date. Continue through December 24th, and watch the excitement build as Santa’s beard grows fuller and fluffier each day! When Santa has a complete, snowy-white beard on Christmas Eve, that means he’s coming to deliver presents that very night!
