diy pine cone ornaments

Supplies:
Scented decorative pine cones (found at Walmart, craft stores, and online)
Red/Green/White Mini Pom Poms
Hot Glue Gun
Glue Sticks
Twine or Ribbon

Here’s an easy peasy craft for the holidays. Your little ones will love creating these pine cone pom pom ornaments. An adult will need to help with the hot glue, but otherwise, this is a child-friendly project. You will be able to find everything you need at any craft store or online (links are below). You can even get creative, and use colors other than red and green–like your favorite sports team’s colors! Have fun!

Directions:

Loop your twine or ribbon around the top layer of your pine cone, and tie a knot to make the ornament hanger.

Using your hot glue gun, dot glue where you want to place your pom poms. Then glue pom poms to the pinecones.

Repeat until you have all the pom poms you want on your ornament. Hang on your tree for a fun homemade ornament.
