Are you ready to try something new for breakfast? Here’s a tasty, and oh-so healthy, smoothie bowl recipe that will get your day off to a terrific (and delicious) start!
Don’t you feel better when you begin the day with something hearty? The granola and fresh fruit in this berry bowl are just the thing to fuel your morning.
I’m using berries I like in this recipe, but feel free to add your favorites to this healthy vegan smoothie bowl. You really can’t go wrong, since berries are loaded with antioxidants, fight inflammation, provide vital nutrients, and may even improve your blood sugar and insulin levels.
Triple Berry Smoothie Bowl
It just takes two simple steps to make your healthy vegan smoothie bowl.
Step one: Freeze
Make sure you use frozen strawberries, raspberries, and blackberries to achieve a thicker berry bowl. Leave them in the freezer for at least an hour before starting the next step. I like to freeze them the night before. You can also buy frozen organic berries.
Step two: Blend
Blend your ingredients together in a blender until you achieve a creamy consistency. Optionally, add two ice cubes for extra freshness.
