DIY Lip Balms + DIY Lip Scrub with Coconut Oil

If you like to make your own beauty products, these DIY lip balms and lip salves are perfect for you. More and more people are making their own lip balms, so they know exactly what ingredients they’re putting on their skin.

These lips balms are all easy to make with minimal ingredients. Some are for fun, like the pina colada recipe, but others are designed to help heal your lips. Sun damaged lips or lips that get dry in the winter can be painful and irritating. If you’re looking for healing lip balms, check out the hemp oil recipe and the Blistex copycat recipe.

DIY lip scrub with coconut oil

If you want to exfoliate your lips, here’s any easy DIY — just mix some white sugar with coconut oil (or honey) to form a paste. You can use about one teaspoon of each. Apply the sugar scrub to your lips, massaging it in small circles. Then wipe it off, and you’ll notice beautifuly, exfoliated lips.
