If you’re like me and haven’t gotten to your taxes yet, here’s a little nudge that might actually help.
Through April 15th, TurboTax is partnering with Uber to offer a free ride (up to $25) to one of their TurboTax Stores or Expert Offices. The idea is simple: remove the hassle of getting there so you can sit down with a real person and get your taxes handled.
How to grab the TurboTax / Uber offer:
- Visit turbotax.intuit.com/book-and-ride to book your appointment and get the ride credit
- Or look for the prompt directly in the Uber app (available in participating cities)
The offer covers one ride per person and is valid while the promotional budget lasts, so don’t wait too long. Participating cities include major metros like New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Dallas, Atlanta, Miami, Phoenix, and many more — check the site to see if there’s a location near you.
Also worth noting: If you have a more complex tax situation, first-time Expert Full Service filers (or those who didn’t use it last year) can file Federal and State for a flat $150 if they file by March 18th.
Not a bad deal if you’ve been on the fence about getting some in-person help this season!
