I’ve talked about my pets on my blog before. My dog, Rosie and cats, Jay Jay and Marley, are part of the family, and I try to keep them happy, healthy, and safe. Since it’s officially spring now, that means it’s time to think about something that can be a serious danger to dogs, cats, and our human families too. I’m talking about fleas and ticks.
As a responsible pet owner, it’s up to us to keep our dogs and cats protected from fleas and ticks and the diseases that come along with them, like tapeworm and Lyme Disease. And once those fleas and ticks travel indoors on our pets, they are so hard to get rid of too.
The best bet is prevention, and there’s a new product that uses the same ingredients and has the same efficacy as Frontline Plus at 40% off the price! PetArmor® Plus contains fipronil, the number one veterinarian-recommended active ingredient, and (s)- methoprene to protect against fleas, flea eggs, flea larvae, ticks and chewing lice. PetArmor® Plus helps protect the entire family from illness by killing ticks that may transmit Lyme disease. It stops the reinfestation cycle by killing flea eggs and larvae.
I just received PetArmor® Plus for my cats and dog — and remember they each use a different product specific to their needs. It goes between the shoulder blades where pets can’t reach it, in case they get curious and would try to lick it off. I applied it to Rosie with no problem, but the cats were a little trickier. If your cats aren’t cooperative, one person to hold the cat and one to apply the product will work well. It’s really pretty easy, and I was glad to find out there was no strong odor like I product I used in the past.
Rosie spends lots of time in our fenced yard, and I love that I can be confident she’s protected from any fleas or ticks that might be out there. Jay Jay (the cat), is our little king, so of course he deserves the best too!
Jay Jay’s mom, Marley, is showing her personality too, which has always been shy. She is hiding under the table hoping we are finished bothering her for the day.
I am happy knowing they are all protected and our home is protected from everything that goes along with a flea infestation. No one will be coming home with ticks either.
A few important things to remember about PetArmor® Plus:
+ Kills fleas, flea eggs, flea larvae, ticks and chewing lice.
+ Fast-acting and long-lasting and waterproof
+ For puppies over 4 lbs. or kittens over 1.5 lbs. and 8 weeks of age or older
+ Buy the right product for their pet’s species: PetArmor® Plus Flea and Tick Protection for Dogs or Flea and Tick Protection for Cats (they should never be used interchangeably)
+ Don’t split tubes between pets
And again, you know I like to save money, so with the number one veterinarian-recommended active ingredient and a great price, this will be my go-to product to protect my furry family members! Here’s where you can buy PetArmor® Plus.
