- 1 12 oz bag steamable frozen broccoli florets
- 1 cup shredded mild cheddar cheese
- 6 slices bacon
- 4 large eggs
- ā cup milk
- Ā½ teaspoon onion powder
- Ā½ teaspoon garlic powder
- Ā¼ teaspoon pink salt
- Ā¼ teaspoon pepper
Instructions
- If making the day of, preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
- Spray an 8x8ā casserole dish with cooking spray and set aside.
- Place frozen broccoli in the microwave, and steam according to package directions. Transfer steamed broccoli to a paper towel-lined plate to soak up excess moisture. Use a sharp knife to chop any larger pieces into bite-sized pieces. Set aside.
- Cook bacon in a saute pan. Transfer cooked bacon to a paper-towel lined plate to soak up excess grease. Crumble bacon, and set aside.
- Add eggs, milk, and spices to a glass measuring cup or bowl. Whisk to combine.
- Place steamed broccoli in the prepared casserole dish. Pour egg mixture evenly over the top. Layer on shredded cheese and crumbled bacon.
- ***If making this the night before, stop here and place in the refrigerator. Continue the next steps in the morning.
