Do you have a new puppy? Part of good puppy parenting includes making sure your dog plays well with others–that means humans and other dogs. Here’s a great way to socialize your pup in a safe environment where they can have fun and learn some good doggie manners.
Free Puppy Playtime at PetCo and PetSmart
Covid-19 Update: Doggie Day Camp at PetSmart looks to be back in session, but Petco has not yet resumed their puppy playtime at our last check of the site. You may want to check in with them periodically for updates.
Petco Puppy Playtime
PetCo is offering free puppy playtimes every Saturday and Sunday to give puppies a fun and supervised environment where they can learn social skills.
Head here to learn more about these 30-minute free puppy playtimes and find out if your local PetCo is participating.
Note: Proof of current vaccinations required. Not available at all locations.
PetSmart Doggie Day Camp
PetSmart also holds doggie daycamps, both half-day and full-day, but they charge a fee. Head to this page to learn more. Right now, there are offers for special freebies!
You can learn more here about the fun activities your dog can participate in too, like skill enrichment, bubble time, and fun and games!

You said PetSmart but sent a link to PetCo. I was trying to find updated info about this, but the link you attached still says these are cancelled due to COVID restrictions. You should update this article.
