My family loves to travel, but we have to do it on a budget. One of the ways we save big is by never paying full price for flights. And the tool that’s helped with that the most is Going.
Going (formerly Scott’s Cheap Flights) tracks airfare across hundreds of destinations. You let them know which airports you can fly out of, and Going sends you an alert when great deals pops up. You can also log in anytime and search deals yourself, by airport, favorite airlines, date, or price, so you’re never stuck just waiting around. Either way, you decide if one of the destinations works for you.
Here’s what it’s done for us: a trip that felt like a “maybe someday” can become a reality once the flight price drops to a fraction of what you’d normally pay. That’s actually how we ended up in in the South of France, one of my favorite trips we’ve taken.
If you’re hesitant about using a paid service, remember that premium members typically save at least a few hundred dollars on a single international flight, sometimes more. Even one domestic booking is often enough to cover the cost. That means one good deal usually covers the entire cost of your membership, and everything after that is extra savings.
The Going deal
Going is running its biggest sale of the year right now with 51% off your first year of Premium or Elite.
- Premium: about $24 for the first year (normally $49)
- Elite: about $98 for the first year (normally $199)
- Use code: SUMMER51 here
Premium gets you all the regular deals, domestic and international, plus mistake fares and price alerts.
Elite adds premium economy, business, and first class deals too, so if you’ve got a splurge trip on your mind, that’s the one to look at.
Going‘s discounted rate won’t last long, so if you’re thinking about your next vacation, don’t wait. (The sale runs through 08/16/26.)
For anyone who loves to travel and do it affordably, this is an amazing deal!
