Did you know you can make condensed milk paint? That’s right, your baby can get started on their first art project with this safe-to-taste finger paint.
You only need two ingredients to make these paints, and your toddler or preschooler can help too. This also works just fine with a paint brush.
Taste-Safe Finger Paint (Condensed Milk Paint) Ingredients:
Sweetened condensed milk
Gel food coloring
Directions:
1. Divide the sweetened condensed milk into bowls (six, if creating the full rainbow of colors).
2. Add gel food coloring to each bowl, and use a spoon to mix. Add additional food coloring until the color is bright enough.
3. We used a basic four-pack of food coloring with red, blue, yellow, and green, and then combined red and yellow for the orange color, and blue and red to create the purple paint.
4. This paint is safe to taste and washes off easily. This is fun to use as a finger paint or use with paint brushes.
Let me know if you make this paint and how your little one likes it!
