This is a review I’ve been really excited about doing this summer. It’s a comparison of the three, very unique, one-size bumGenius cloth diapers. Let’s do a quick, point-by-point match-up…

The three diapers are basically identical on the outside, but as you can see, are quite different inside. After using all three types of bumGenius cloth diapers for almost a full month I can really see the benefits of each, and I definitely have my favorite, the Freetime. For me, it’s just the easiest to use. This all-in-one diaper dries faster than any other all-in-one that I’ve come across. It makes for a super fast diaper change and on top of that, it has Stay-Dry fabric with plenty of absorbency.
The others have advantages too, though. The pocket diaper, that bumGenius is known for, allows you to stuff it with extra, more absorbent inserts like hemp. It’s customizable and perfect for naps and longer car rides. Their organic cotton Elemental diaper is ridiculously absorbent (I mean it will be heavy when you take it off of your baby!) yet it’s gentle against baby’s skin. And, again, an extra insert works great with it.
All bumGenius diapers feature easy stretch sides with two snaps and come in a ton of prints and solid colors (including some pretty cool artist- and genius-inspired prints). I can also say that after a month, as expected, all three look perfectly brand new. Now, my baby girl is 15 lbs. and as you can tell, the diapers are a bit wide in the middle for her. However, the snap-down sizing and many waist snaps make for a good fit otherwise, and they’re not bulky overall. They even have a pretty darn good product warranty that most diaper companies just don’t have. It’s clear why they are a favorite among so many.
