I Found the Best Metal Dining Chairs (Hint: They’re Affordable & Stylish)

I found the best metal dining chairs to go with my newly painted kitchen table! Keep reading to see why I chose these fantastic chairs.

I recently updated a kitchen table my husband and I got when we were first married, and I was on the lookout for some chairs to go with it.

The table is a farmhouse style, and it had been through a lot, including being used as a desk and sitting out in our garage for several years. I decided to paint it–and I’ll share that process in another post.

Once the paint job was finished though, I was having a really difficult time finding chairs to go with the table. I browsed the internet forever looking at different styles of chairs. The table is “farmhouse,” but I wanted chairs that would give it a more modern look. Of course, the table and chairs still need to look good together, so it was tricky.

Then I came across these dining chairs. They were the answer to my dining chair dilemma! These metal and wood chairs work perfectly with my table! Honestly, they would work equally well in a modern kitchen, a country kitchen, or almost anything in between.

I came across these dining chairs on Costoff’s site, and they were the answer to my dining chair dilemma. These metal and wood chairs work perfectly with my table! Honestly, they would work equally well in a modern kitchen, a country kitchen, or almost anything in between.

I love that they give a more updated look to my painted kitchen table, but the wood seats keep them looking a little bit rustic. They also coordinate well with my living room end tables.

And, these chairs are heavy duty! As I was searching the internet, I came across so many kitchen chairs that honestly seemed like they may not last long.

Metal dining chairs are, of course, highly durable because they’re made of metal, and these chairs go the extra mile with x-shaped metal supports. They can stand up to plenty of use and abuse, so if you have kids, they are perfect for you.

They’re also super easy to clean, with just a quick wipe-down if needed. These wood/metal dining chairs come with protective footpads to keep the floor from getting scratched too. They’re such a great choice for families.

I can’t forget to mention how affordable these chairs are. I did a search for the same kind of chairs, and these where a terrific choice when it comes to price and quality–by far.

Finally, it wasn’t one of my requirements, but I was happy to see that these chairs are stackable. This is perfect for our family. Most of the time, we have the leaf out of our table, making it smaller, so we need fewer chairs. We can stack the extras in the garage or closet to use on holidays or when we have guests.
