I’m lucky to be able to work from home. I love that I can make my own schedule, and I don’t have to “get ready” for work every day. One downside is that I don’t buy clothes for myself as often as I did when I worked in an office. When I do shop for myself, I look for clothes that are comfortable and casual–clothes that I can work in but that will look good when I go out.
I recently got the chance to review an outfit from prAna. I selected the Kara jeans and the Stacia sweater. prAna likes to say they design clothing that looks good but is versatile enough for any lifestyle and any adventure. I would have to agree.
The Kara jeans are the most popular item prAna has ever offered! After wearing them, I can see why. I almost don’t where to start. They are lightweight, super soft, and so comfortable. They don’t even feel like jeans. They have some stretch and flexibility, and again are very soft. I can say, without a doubt, they are the most comfortable jeans I’ve ever owned. The Kara jeans are straight-legged and come cuffed. They are really cute cuffed, and are meant to be worn this way. If you’re tall, you’ll be able to uncuff them and have plenty of length. These jeans work perfectly with boots too.
The Stacia sweater is also very soft. From the first time you wear it, it feels like a favorite cozy sweater that’s been washed and worn many times. It seems to run a little big, but it is not bulky, so even being a little wide, it still looks good. Again, I was so pleasantly surprised by the comfort. This is a sweater I will wear again and again.
From work, to walking outside in the cold looking at Christmas lights, to snuggling up on the sofa in the late evening, I couldn’t have asked for a better outfit to take me through the day.
I also appreciate that prAna offers organic, hemp, sustainable, and fair trade items so that consumers can feel good about the things they wear and the items they give. And, if you’ve ever worn prAna, the quality they put into their clothing is obvious. This is the kind of company I want to support.
