We’re in the midst of the holiday season! Are you as busy as I am? My work schedule is crazy at this time of year, some of us are preparing for visits from family–or maybe you’re traveling to see friends and family. And, that’s not to mention shopping, baking, and decorating! It can all take a toll physically and even shows up in how we look.
The cold and dry outside air and the heated indoor air isn’t doing our skin any favors either. Especially in the northern part of the country, it can be a battle to keep your skin moisturized.
Of course, I have always included a moisturizer in my skincare routine, but I never want to get stuck in a rut. As we age, our skin’s needs change. This time of year can be even more of a challenge. I’ve always done my research when it comes to skincare. I look for products that promote cell turnover to reveal fresh new skin. I also look for products that will hold in my skin’s own moisture to keep my complexion from looking dry and crepey.
Older skin especially can look tired, dull, and lose its youthful, dewy glow. That’s why I’m so glad I discovered L’OREAL Age Perfect Rosy Tone moisturizer. I’ve been using it for the last couple of weeks, and I’m having great results. It’s lightweight and absorbs quickly–important to me, since I use other products with it (like serums), and I want my foundation to go on smoothly over it too. It gives my skin a youthful, rejuvenated look that is only getting better the longer I use it.
There are lots of good things about getting older, but dull, dry skin is not one of them. I’m loving Rosy Tone moisturizer for helping me look on the outside the way I feel on the inside!
