I love that the weather is getting warmer and so does my dog, Rosie! We have a nice-sized fenced yard where Rosie loves to spend a lot of her day, and she likes the dog park even more.
The only downside to the spring weather is the mud that Rosie seems to always get into. We wipe her feet at the door, but after a little while, she definitely needs a bath. That’s when we schedule her appointment with PetSmart grooming.
We’ve been taking Rosie to PetSmart groomers for a few years now. There are several reasons we choose PetSmart–
- Scheduling is quick and easy online or by phone with convenient hours available for dog (or cat) grooming.
- We get a text when Rosie is ready to be picked up. We shop in the store while we wait for Rosie and sometimes in nearby stores.
- Rosie absolutely hates having her nails trimmed, so we leave it to the dog groomers at PetSmart. They are the best, and seem to have no trouble with her at all!
- PetSmart Grooming Salons offer a “Look Great Guarantee,” and groomers are safety certified yearly.
I took Rosie to my local PetSmart Grooming Salon recently for a bath, nail trim, and tooth-brushing. I had her appointment set, so we spent an afternoon at the dog park the day before. I didn’t mind her getting a little extra dirty since she had a bath scheduled for the next day.
Since she isn’t the kind of dog who needs a haircut, her “before” and “after” photos aren’t as dramatic as some others. Her coat definitely looks shinier and cleaner though. My son and I always say that when Rosie has a bath, her “whites get whiter, and her brights get brighter.”
PetSmart Grooming Salons do a great job, and they’re so convenient. I definitely recommend them!

She’s so clean (and smells good too). Now Rosie’s allowed on the bed! (Who am I kidding? She’s always allowed on the bed!)
