Here’s how it started…How many times have you gone to the movies and sat in an almost empty theater? I know that’s been the case with our family many times. We often see matinees, and I’m surprised how few people are there for early showings. It was that experience that led Sean Wycliffe to start Dealflicks.
Did you know 88% of movie theater seats go empty? Dealflicks partners with theaters to fill those empty seats by offering movie tickets, popcorn, and soda for up to 60% off! But we’re not just talking about matinees or weekday showings–Dealflicks helps theaters fill unsold seats whenever they’re available.
Think of it as the Priceline or Hotwire of movie tickets. You tell Dealflix what movie you want to see and what day you need the tickets. They’ll find you a great deal. And with the price of movie tickets as much as $10 or more in some cities, who doesn’t want to save some money?
Unfortunately they aren’t in my city yet, but Dealflicks is still new and they’re spreading across the country. There’s a “request” link on their site you can use to let them know you’d like your favorite theater to be part of Dealflicks. I don’t know why a theater wouldn’t want to participate.
Dealflicks has been featured in CNBC, The New York Times, TechCrunch, NBC, CBS, and more.
Be sure to check out Dealflicks the next time you want to see a movie, and save yourself some cash! Look for their iPhone and Android apps too.
