Place the frozen wings in the air fryer basket. Make sure there’s some space between them for even cooking.
Cook at 400°F for 9 or 10 minutes to defrost the chicken.
Remove the wings, and put them in a bowl. Drain any liquid that’s accumulated in the bottom of the air fryer.
Lightly spray the wings with cooking spray. This helps in achieving that extra crunch.
Season them, if you’d like. A simple seasoning mix of salt and pepper, onion powder and garlic pepper works well.
Put the wings back into the air fryer basket, and cook at 400°F for 10 to 12 minutes, turning them halfway through.
Check the wings for doneness. They should be golden brown and have an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
Once they’re ready, carefully remove the wings from the air fryer or Ninja Foodi.
You can serve the wings as they are, or toss them with your favorite sauce.
