Frozen Chicken Wings in the Air Fryer / Ninja Foodi

Equipment

  • Air fryer or Ninja Foodi
  • Meat thermometer
  • Cooking spray (for extra crispiness)

Ingredients

  • Frozen chicken wings
  • Your favorite wing sauce or seasoning optional

Instructions

  • Place the frozen wings in the air fryer basket. Make sure there’s some space between them for even cooking.
  • Cook at 400°F for 9 or 10 minutes to defrost the chicken.
  • Remove the wings, and put them in a bowl. Drain any liquid that’s accumulated in the bottom of the air fryer.
  • Lightly spray the wings with cooking spray. This helps in achieving that extra crunch.
  • Season them, if you’d like. A simple seasoning mix of salt and pepper, onion powder and garlic pepper works well.
  • Put the wings back into the air fryer basket, and cook at 400°F for 10 to 12 minutes, turning them halfway through.
  • Check the wings for doneness. They should be golden brown and have an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
  • Once they’re ready, carefully remove the wings from the air fryer or Ninja Foodi.
  • You can serve the wings as they are, or toss them with your favorite sauce.
