1chicken breast cut into stripsor you can use chicken tenders – if so, skip step 1 of instructions
1cupsof flour
1egg
1/8cupof milk
1Teaspoonof salt
1teaspoonof pepper
1teaspoonof paprika
1/4teaspooncayenne pepper
1teaspoonof your favorite hot sauceadjust according to your taste if you'd like
Instructions
Cut chicken breasts into strips.
Whisk eggs and mix the milk and hot sauce together in in a medium-sized bowl. In a separate bowl, mix the flour and spices together.
Dip one chicken strip into the egg mixture, and then coat it in the flour mixture. Repeat for all strips.
Place battered strips in the air fryer basket (lined with parchment paper), and spray generously with oil.
Cook at 380 degrees for 10 minutes. Flip chicken tenders, spray with oil, and cook at 380 for 8 more minutes.
Notes
For crispier chicken tenders, give your chicken strips two coats of the flour mixture. You might have to use more of the the egg and milk mixture to get the flour mixture to stick.You might like to make these into buffalo chicken strips too. Just add buffalo sauce after cooking.
