I’m so happy that the weather is finally warming up after what seemed like an extra long winter this year. We can finally get outside more, and the flowers and trees are blooming. Spring cleaning is underway at our house too. I don’t know what it is that makes it almost a natural instinct to want to make our homes fresh and new for spring. I just finished cleaning out my closet, filling a big box with clothes to be donated. There are still lots of spring cleaning items on our list though, and just in time to help me tackle them, I received a box full of products from some of my favorite brands from Babbleboxx!

Duck Pack & Track app-based labeling, storage, and locating system

First on the list, check out this Duck Pack & Track app-based labeling, storage, and locating system. If you’re cleaning out closets or your garage, this will definitely come in handy. If you’re moving, it will really be a lifesaver!

Duck Pack & Track

Here’s how it works: you pack and store your items, and then label them. But here’s the cool part–you scan the code on the label with the pack & track app (available for Apple and Android), and when you do, you can add information about the contents of the box by voice or text. Later when you’re looking for your stored items, there’s no more rummaging through boxes. Just scan the codes, and you’ll see which box has what you’re looking for. This is so convenient and such a time-saver.

Westcott scissors

I was pleasantly surprised to find Westcott scissors in my box of goodies. They’re the world’s favorite scissors and for good reason. I’ve picked up cheap scissors in the past, and using Westcott scissors is like night and day. They handled every job I threw at them, big and small. With carbonitride titanium-bonded blades that are eight times harder than untreated stainless steel, these scissors will stay sharper longer. The handle is even reinforced, so these scissors are really a money-saver vs. all of those bargain brand scissors that break or get dull right away. These Westcott scissors even have a non-stick coating making the blades corrosion and adhesive resistant. And, I love having a few pairs to keep around the house, so there’s always a pair within easy reach.

Krud Kutter Cleaner

Spring cleaning means not only clearing the clutter and getting organized, but actually “cleaning” too. I’m using Krud Kutter Cleaner as I deep clean my home for spring.

Krud Kutter cleaners

The kitchen and the bathroom are the two areas in the house that get the dirtiest, and Krud Kutter Kitchen Degreaser All-Purpose Cleaner and Krud Kutter Heavy Duty Cleaner & Disinfectant are all you need to make those rooms sparkle again!

Krud Kutter Kitchen Degreaser All-Purpose Cleaner is perfect for the kitchen because it removes tough grease and grime, but is non-toxic and safe for food prep surfaces. As you do your deep cleaning, don’t forget to use it on your cabinets, appliances, backsplash, and even walls and baseboards where residual grease and grime build up over time. I keep it handy for everyday cleaning too. I love how well it works, and that it’s Safer Choice Certified!

Krud Kutter Heavy Duty Cleaner & Disinfectant is just that–heavy-duty! It cleans, disinfects, and deodorizes in just one step. I love it for cleaning the bathroom. It’s EPA-registered to kill 99.9% of bacteria and germs. It’s bleach-free (so no strong bleach smell), and it leaves surfaces with a streak-free finish.

Scrub Daisy Dishwand System

scrub daisy dishwash system

Also great for everyday cleaning, you’ll love the Scrub Daisy Dishwand System. If you’re familiar with the original Scrub Daddy (or even if you’re not), you’ll love this system. I have a dishwasher, and I do not like to hand wash dishes, but there are some things that just can’t go in the dishwasher. There are other things that don’t seem to get clean in the dishwasher. This fun gadget comes with a “vase” and valet to store your dishwand and scrubbing heads.

The vase suctions down to stay secure on your kitchen sink. The three scrub heads, the Daisy, the Sunflower, and the Hyacinth have special petals and surfaces for specific cleaning needs. The Daisy dispenses soap and is just right for your everyday dishware, utensils, cups, and pots and pans. The Sunflower is designed with more scouring power and an scraper attached for really dirty pots, pans, and baking dishes. The Hyacinth is what you need to clean those tall water bottles, insulated cups, baby bottles, and vases.

Waterpik Power Pulse Shower Head

Speaking of clean, my Babbleboxx came with this Waterpik Power Pulse Shower Head. What a simple way to refresh the look of your bathroom! It took just minutes to install this shower head–no tools required!

Waterpik WaterSense Showerhead

This shower head has six settings, including a powerful massage setting, but it’s engineered to save water. If you want to reduce your water bill, check out the shower heads Waterpik has to offer.

Mosquito Joe Mosquito Control Treatment Discount

Finally, as part of my Babbleboxx package, I received a mosquito control treatment from Mosquito Joe. Now that we’re spending so much time outdoors, I was thrilled to learn more about this service. With Mosquito Joe barrier treatments, your yard will be free of mosquitoes, fleas, and ticks for up to 21 days. The certified and trained technicians who come to your home will tailor the treatment to your yard to make the mosquito control as effective as possible.

Our whole family is loving that we can finally sit outside and enjoy our backyard mosquito-free! We have a fenced yard, and our dog spends so much time there too. Knowing that this treatment keeps our yard free of fleas and ticks as well is a bonus for our furry family family members too. And, we can’t forget that when we eliminate mosquitoes, we are eliminating mosquito-borne illnesses.

A mosquito control treatment from Mosquito Joe will turn your yard into another room of your home. Don’t forget to call Mosquito Joe if you’re hosting a summer party or picnic to make sure all of your guests are comfortable. You can take $25 off your first treatment with code BUZZONLINE.

Have you tried any of these products? Which ones will you be using for your own spring refresh? Leave me a comment below.

I thought of Maya Angelou when I watched the inaug I thought of Maya Angelou when I watched the inauguration. She was the poet at Bill Clinton's inauguration, if anyone remembers. This is the link to that reading youtube.com/watch?v=8ecWterxtq0 ("On the Pulse of Morning") She lived not far from me, and when she died, I went to her estate sale. I regretted not going to see her speak while I had the chance and wanted to buy something that belonged to her. We were actually able to go into her house. People were picking through her dishes and rooms full of books, and there were paintings and scuptures she'd been gifted that were selling for thousands of dollars. Her bedroom was closed off, but it felt like we shouldn't be there. For the few who don't know it, this is probably her most famous poem and my favorite: Still I Rise You may write me down in history
With your bitter, twisted lies,
You may trod me in the very dirt
But still, like dust, I’ll rise. Does my sassiness upset you?
Why are you beset with gloom?
’Cause I walk like I’ve got oil wells
Pumping in my living room.
Just like moons and like suns,
With the certainty of tides,
Just like hopes springing high,
Still I’ll rise. Did you want to see me broken?
Bowed head and lowered eyes?
Shoulders falling down like teardrops,
Weakened by my soulful cries? Does my haughtiness offend you?
Don’t you take it awful hard
’Cause I laugh like I’ve got gold mines
Diggin’ in my own backyard. You may shoot me with your words,
You may cut me with your eyes,
You may kill me with your hatefulness,
But still, like air, I’ll rise. Does my sexiness upset you?
Does it come as a surprise
That I dance like I’ve got diamonds
At the meeting of my thighs? Out of the huts of history’s shame
I rise
Up from a past that’s rooted in pain
I rise
I’m a black ocean, leaping and wide,
Welling and swelling I bear in the tide. Leaving behind nights of terror and fear
I rise
Into a daybreak that’s wondrously clear
I rise
Bringing the gifts that my ancestors gave,
I am the dream and the hope of the slave.
I rise
I rise
I rise.
