Today I’m reviewing a cool little cloth diaper system that I don’t think enough people know about, the Monkey Doodlez Tuck and Go Cloth Diaper. Honestly, there is not a whole system to think about, it’s easier than that. For those of you who do not cloth diaper, this is a diaper to consider. It’s just two pieces, the cover and the pad. And for experienced cloth diaperers, the cover is very versatile, you can use any pad, fitted, or pre-fold that suites you, and still get the great fit of the Tuck and Go cover.
I’ll talk about the Tuck and Go cover first. Every part of it that touches your baby’s skin is made of their super soft micro-fleece. The outside is, of course, waterproof, and there are snap downs to make it smaller and get a good fit. The hook and loop (velcro) closure is wide, no issues with it coming undone. The covers come in four sizes, ranging from 6 – 45+ lbs, wow! It can be hard to find a good fitting newborn cloth diaper, and just as difficult to find a diaper that will fit bigger kids, and those who may need something like this in pre-school and beyond or just for nighttime.
The Tuck and Go pad is simple and effective. The bamboo-poly micro fleece is incredibly soft and very absorbent. It’s made to fit the cover perfectly, and is also super soft on your baby’s skin. As long as you’ve got the pad tucked in correctly, there is a front and a back, and you’re ready to go.
And, now for our little girl:) She is wearing the newborn size, small, for 6 – 18 lbs. I’m using the cover with the pad that is made to fit in it. But, I also have a Monkey Doodlez pre-fold that fits well in this cover. It’s one of the most versatile cloth diaper systems out there.
