Parents and homeschoolers, here are some wonderful educational resources for the Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday and Black History Month.
Head to Scholastic for lesson plans and printables including social studies, language arts, and science, plus photographs, news articles, and book lists. You’ll find lessons for grades pre-K and up.
Scholastic has done a great job of putting together materials that will help children better understand the subject of the civil rights movement, black history, and the life of Dr. King. This is an important part of American history that all children need to learn, and you can pick up these resources free!
