Here’s some fun news if you or someone you know has a March 2nd birthday! Dr. Seuss Enterprises is doing something special this yearโthey’re giving away free personalized copies of “The Cat in the Hat” to anyone born on March 2nd, any year. (I just missed it!)
It’s actually an expansion of what they did last year, when they gave books just to babies born on March 2, 2024. Now, for 2025, they’ve opened it up to everyone who shares Dr. Seuss’s birthday–no matter what year they were born!
Getting your free book is super simpleโjust go to SeussPledge.com to for all the details and to register.
You can either get the book for yourself or choose to have it donated to kids in underserved communities. Each copy comes personalized with the reader’s name and a special birthday message encouraging daily reading.
The giveaway is part of the “Read Today for Their Tomorrow” campaign, and Dr. Seuss Enterprises is working with Random House Children’s Books to make it happen. As Dr. Seuss himself said, “The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you’ll go!”
Do you know anyone with a March 2nd birthday? Be sure to share this post!
