Disclosure: I received Puritan’s Pride essentials oils to facilitate my review. As always, all opinions are my own. See full disclosure policy here.
I am seeing essential oils everywhere lately. They are popular for a reason–they have so many great uses for you and your home!
I got to try five essential oils from Puritan’s Pride and had a lot of fun experimenting with them. These are the five I received, and I’m still finding new ways to use them.
- Aromappeal Lavender Essential Oil: Traditional Uses: Tranquility and serenity, meditation, used for massage.
- Aromappeal Geranium Essential Oil: Traditional Uses: Cleansing, purifying, and uplifting
- Aromappeal Lemongrass Essential Oil: Traditional Uses: Traditional Uses: Cleansing and purifying, tranquility and serenity
- Aromappeal Bergamont Essential Oil: Traditional Uses: purifying and cleansing, tranquility and serenity, meditation.
- Aromappeal Rosewood Essential Oil: Traditional Uses: Respiratory health, rejuvenating especially when rubbed on the temples, sensuality, skin health.
My favorites are the lavendar and lemongrass. There are a wealth of ideas for using your essential oils out there, and I’m trying the ones I like the best.
My favorite use of my essential oils so far has been to make my own sugar scrub. It was super easy to make, and you can adjust the recipe to your liking. Here is the recipe I used, and I include a few variations. This makes a frugal, yet thoughtful gift too.
You can also use your oils to make an oil reed diffuser, which is very easy (I’m also working on a post to show you how to do that). If you make your own household cleaners, essential oils can be added to those, as well as to DIY laundry detergent. Use them to scent your homemade soaps too. The list goes on and on.
I’ve used Puritan’s Pride supplements before, so I trust them when it comes to essential oils. If you’re not familiar with the Company, Puritan’s Pride has been around for over 40 years making high quality supplements at great values right here in the U.S. They only use ingredients from suppliers that meet their stringent Quality Assurance Standards, as well as GMP food quality standards.
